Good to see you all!
Just a quick note from me to say how good it was to spend a few hours with you all last week. Face to face is definitely better than ear to ear! Trust you all made it home safely -- I finally got home yesterday after a very pleasant weekend in the nation's capital. I do like Canberra (and yes, I know I will now be tarred and feathered and banished from Sydney!). Robyn, thanks for all you did to get us together and to ensure the value of our shared time.

It was great to see everyone Thanks for being such a good roomie Claudia. Next time I am going to book a later flight so we can have a looooong brunch.
yes it was really good to meet everyone - thanks again. Nat and I had a panic Saturday morning when our taxi didn't arrive; and we didn't think Niki would appreciate being woken up at 5am :). Anyway we eventually managed to get another taxi to the airport just in the nick of time. I got home at lunchtime and crashed as we got no sleep that night, and picked up a cold as soon as I arrived. Poor Nat had other dramas which she will tell you all about.
But now recovered and trying to have a relaxing weekend.
And thanks Niki, I had to set up a new account but can now post to the blog again!
Hee hey, I had a special trip home. Apart from not getting a taxi, nearly missing the connecting flight to Melbourne (it was already boarding) our pilot nearly ran out of fuel a half hour out of Perth, so he turned the plane around and flew back to Adelaide. All in all a 6 hour delay and I managed to visit Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth all in one day!!!!! Came home and had a very large drink!

Unlike the rest of you, I had no dramas on the way home. But… I'd rather foolishly agreed to see As You Like It that night, and guess who fell asleep in the second act?
Next time I’m definitely staying longer in Canberra!
